Building CentralHq, one milestone at a time.

    Polish, Identity & Revenue

Turn CentralHq into the place your recurring revenue lives. Define what each venture sells — products and plans — put your customers on subscriptions, and watch MRR, active customers, and churn update as the money spine flows it into your runway. Connect a venture’s own Stripe with a read-only key to sync its customers, products, and subscriptions straight in. Split a shared cost or asset across the ventures that actually use it, so every venture’s numbers stay honest. And the whole app gets a fresh, more legible look — clear icons and color on every surface, empty screens that teach instead of sitting blank, and a single working flow for moving to a paid plan.

    Highlights

    • Define what each venture sells — products and plans — put your customers on subscriptions, and see MRR, active customers, and churn update automatically as it flows into your runway.
    • Connect a venture’s own Stripe with a read-only key to pull its customers, products, and subscriptions straight in — no double entry, and revocable in a click.
    • Share a cost or an asset — a server, a tool, an org-wide bill — across the ventures that use it, so each venture’s numbers stay honest and the org total always reconciles.
    • Every surface now has clear icons and color to tell things apart at a glance — the app is easier to read and quicker to navigate.
    • Blank screens now teach — each explains what the surface is for and the first thing to do, instead of sitting empty.
    • Move to a paid plan in one flow — add your billing details and check out on the same screen — with a single, clear place to compare plans.

    Operate Every Venture

Run every part of each venture in one place. Each venture now has a grouped workspace with its whole operation wired in — a tasks board that rolls up all the work across its initiatives, its customers with their bookings and invoices, a docs space for specs and SOPs (company-wide and per venture), the vendors it pays and what renews when, its growth campaigns with leads and spend, and its team with weekly time and utilization. Everything lives at the organization level and scoped to a single venture, so you can run the whole business — every department — from CentralHq, not just a founder’s cockpit.

    Highlights

    • Every task across a venture’s initiatives rolls up onto one board, so you can see all of its work in one place without hopping between initiatives.
    • Each venture shows its customers in one view — who they are, their next booking, open invoices, and where they sit in onboarding.
    • Write specs, SOPs, and notes in rich text — one company space for the organization and one for each venture — so knowledge lives right where the work is.
    • Keep the tools and services you pay for in one registry — what each costs, when it renews, and which venture it belongs to — across the organization or inside a venture.
    • Track marketing campaigns with their channel, spend, and leads, and see cost per lead at a glance — org-wide or scoped to a single venture.
    • See who’s working on each venture and log the hours — a weekly utilization view shows load against capacity, so you know where the team is stretched.

    Operate CentralHq

Run each venture from one place. Its Overview opens on an operating cockpit — money truth, what needs you now, active work, and where every piece sits on a lifecycle map from idea to shipped — with a live feed of everything that just happened in it. Give a venture a budget it draws down from your shared cash, edit every detail inline from a right-hand properties panel, and turn the Blueprint into a living, structured plan — vision, users, goals, in and out of scope, risks, and metrics — that saves as you type. And a mobile layout so you can operate on the go.

    Highlights

    • Every venture opens on an operating cockpit — its money truth, what needs you now, active work, and where each piece sits on a lifecycle map from idea to shipped.
    • A live activity feed shows everything that just happened inside a venture — work moved, money in and out, decisions — right on its Overview.
    • Earmark a budget a venture draws down from your shared cash, and see how much is left and how long it lasts — without pretending the venture has its own bank account.
    • A right-hand properties panel holds every venture detail — owner, client, stage, priority, target date, tags, and its full history — each editable inline with a click.
    • The Blueprint becomes a structured, editable plan: the vision in rich text, plus target users, goals, what’s in and out of scope, risks, and success metrics as tidy lists that save as you type.
    • A mobile layout with quick tabs for your cockpit, ventures, capture, and search, so you can run the business on the go.

    Editability & Experience

Fix anything, tidy without fear. Correct a mistyped transaction, rename an account, adjust a capital raise, or edit a client, invoice, or build item — every record across your money, build, and clients is now editable in place, and anything you retire is archived reversibly with an undo, never a permanent scar. Write in rich text wherever the story matters, keep credentials in an encrypted secrets vault, create a venture through a guided page that shows exactly what each kind gives you and who owns it, and land on a cockpit that fills in as you go instead of a wall of blank forms.

    Highlights

    • Correct a mistyped transaction, rename an account, adjust a capital raise or an asset — every money record edits in place, and your runway and P&L update the instant you save.
    • Retire an account, rule, client, invoice, or build item and it’s archived — hidden but recoverable, with an undo on the small stuff and a clear confirm on anything with consequences.
    • Write in rich text — headings, lists, links — wherever you capture the story behind the work.
    • Keep API keys, passwords, and licences in an encrypted secrets vault your team can share safely, stored encrypted at rest.
    • Create a venture through a guided two-step page: pick what kind of work it is and see exactly which sections you’ll get, set its owner and client, and give it a head start with a vision and a first initiative.
    • A refreshed cockpit and workspace that show the shape of what’s coming and reveal more as you set things up, instead of blank forms.

    • Secrets vault

    Integrations

Connect the tools you already run on, so your Ledger and Build Track fill themselves in. Link a bank to pull balances and transactions straight into your money truth, forward a receipt to a private address and watch it become a recorded expense, and connect your delivery tools so what you ship ties back to the initiative that paid for it — every connection encrypted, kept read-only where the tool allows, and revocable in a click. Plus a refreshed, more consistent interface across the whole app, and organization invites that now expire.

    Highlights

    • Connect a bank and pull balances and transactions straight into your Ledger — far less manual entry — with read-only access you can revoke anytime.
    • Forward a receipt to your private CentralHq address and it becomes a recorded expense automatically, routed to the right venture for you to confirm.
    • Connect your delivery tools so what you ship links back to the initiative that paid for it — build truth and money truth stay joined.
    • Every connection is encrypted at rest, scoped as tightly as the tool allows, and disconnects cleanly — no credentials left lying around.
    • A refreshed, more consistent interface — shared page, header, and card building blocks across every surface, so the whole app feels like one product.
    • Organization invitations now expire, so a forwarded or leaked invite link can’t grant access forever.

    • Bank sync

    Plans & Billing

Start free and upgrade when you’re ready. See your plan and exactly how much of each limit you’re using, and the moment you reach one, move up to a paid plan with a secure card checkout — your card details never touch our servers. Manage your card, receipts, and cancellation yourself from the billing portal. And a brand-new organization now opens on the two ways to start, revealing more of the workspace as you add your first venture and client, instead of greeting you with a wall of features.

    Highlights

    • Your billing home shows your current plan, what’s included, and how much of each limit you’re using — so you know where you stand before you hit a wall.
    • Reach a limit on the free plan and you get a clear prompt with the exact number, and a one-click path to upgrade — no dead ends.
    • Pay by card through an embedded, PCI-secure checkout — your card details never touch our servers — with a clear plan comparison showing what each tier unlocks.
    • Change your card, download receipts, or cancel anytime from the billing portal; your plan reflects every change as soon as it’s confirmed.
    • A brand-new organization opens on the two ways to start — capture a venture or add a client — and reveals more of the workspace as you actually set things up.

    Roles & Permissions

Decide exactly who can do what. Every member gets a clear role, and you can build custom roles that grant just the right abilities — who manages money, approves scope, ships releases, or runs the organization — so people can do their work without being handed the keys to everything. Invite teammates, change roles as work shifts, and transfer ownership when it’s time. And if you belong to more than one organization, switch between them in a click — your place is remembered, even after a reload.

    Highlights

    • Build roles that grant exactly the abilities a person needs — pick from a catalog of capabilities and assign them — so each member can do their work without access to everything.
    • Invite people, set whether they’re a member or an admin, change roles as work shifts, and transfer ownership when it’s time — all from one place.
    • The committing acts — managing money, approving scope, deciding, shipping — are reserved for the people you’ve granted them to, while everyone can still capture ideas and see what’s going on.
    • Belong to more than one organization and switch between them in a click — your active organization is remembered, even after a reload.

    Service & Client Templates

Run client work the way you run everything else. Keep a directory of the clients you work for, with each one’s ventures and money in one place; manage bookings for a service venture and consulting onboarding with a sign-off; bill clients with invoices that turn a recorded payment into real revenue; run recurring retainers that feed your runway automatically; and set goals with key results that track their own progress across any kind of venture.

    Highlights

    • Keep the clients you work for in one place — each with their tier, contact, the ventures you run for them, and what those ventures net, computed live.
    • Manage bookings for a service venture, and run consulting onboarding as a checklist that ends in a sign-off — the right workflow shows up for each venture’s kind.
    • Draft an invoice with line items, send it, then record payment — which posts the revenue straight to your Ledger and updates what each client owes.
    • Set up a recurring retainer for a client and it maintains a revenue line on the Ledger automatically, so your runway always reflects what’s coming in — with a heads-up before each one renews.
    • Set objectives with measurable key results for any venture; progress tracks itself from the numbers, so you always know how close you are.

    The Build Track

The other half of the picture — what each venture is actually building, kept honest by the money. Turn ideas into initiatives with an intended cost and what they should unlock, scope and approve the work, package it for build, ship it, and route feedback back into new ideas — with every cost and dollar of revenue tagged to the initiative that earned it, so shipping moves your runway.

    Highlights

    • Capture ideas anywhere and triage them in one Idea Inbox, then promote the best into initiatives — each with an intended cost and what shipping it should unlock.
    • Break an initiative into tasks on a board, and settle the forks that block work with decisions kept on the record.
    • Tag the money — every recurring cost and dollar of revenue — to the initiative it belongs to, so each initiative shows intended vs. actual and your venture P&L breaks down by initiative.
    • Scope features with requirements, acceptance, and open questions; approve the scope before anyone builds; and lay them out on a roadmap of milestones.
    • Turn an approved feature into a build-ready package — the spec files generate from its scope — and hand it to yourself, your team, or an AI agent.
    • Ship: review what’s built, cut a release that records what it shipped and the revenue it unlocked, and route feedback straight back into new ideas — the loop closes.
    • A Cockpit "needs you now" list and a personal bell tell each person exactly what’s theirs — decisions to make, approvals to give, reviews waiting — and nothing that isn’t.

    Venture Command Center

Every venture gets its own command center. Open one and you land on a header that shows what it is, where it’s at, and whether it’s on track — with an Overview cockpit that leads with its money truth and what to do next, and a structured Blueprint that holds the vision, who it’s for, goals, MVP scope, risks, and the metrics that matter. New ventures start from a template matched to their kind, so the right sections are there from day one.

    Highlights

    • Open a venture and land on its own cockpit — a header that shows what it is, what stage it’s at, and whether it’s on track, with everything for that venture one click away.
    • Each venture opens on the answer: its money truth and what to do next, so you always know where it stands without digging.
    • Capture the vision in a proper shape — who it’s for, the goals, the MVP scope, the risks, and the metrics that matter — instead of scattered notes.
    • New ventures start from a template matched to their kind, so the right sections are laid out for you from day one.
    • A computed on-track or at-risk signal on every venture, so the ones that need you stand out.

A Fresh Look & Operating Shell

CentralHq gets a refreshed look and a cleaner operating shell. A calmer new colour system and the Geist typeface across the whole app, an accent and density you can make your own, light or dark following your system, one scope-driven sidebar, faster ways to find and capture, and a "what changed" bell — so the cockpit feels like an operating system, not a set of forms.

    Highlights

    • A calmer new colour system and the Geist typeface across the whole app — easier on the eyes and sharper at every size.
    • Pick an accent colour, choose light or dark (or follow your system), and set the density that suits you — remembered on this device.
    • Navigation is one clean, grouped sidebar with collapsible sections — plus an execution view that slims it down for builders.
    • Press Ctrl/Cmd-K to jump to anything, and Ctrl/Cmd-I to capture an idea in one line without leaving what you’re doing.
    • A bell in the top bar shows what just moved across your organization — captures, decisions, money — so you never miss a beat.

    Operating Cockpit & Onboarding

CentralHq learns to orient you. Your home opens on the answer — runway, what needs attention, and how each venture is doing — money is laid out the way you actually think about it, an empty organization gets a guided start instead of blank forms, and a live feed shows everything that just changed across your business.

    Highlights

    • Your home now opens on the answer: runway, what needs your attention, how each venture is doing, and what just changed — not a blank page.
    • Money opens on an overview — cash, runway, what’s earning and what’s burning — with accounts, money in, money out, funding, and assets each one click away.
    • A dedicated runway view with a what-if for the capital you’re expecting and profit and loss broken down per venture.
    • An empty organization gets a getting-started checklist and pages that teach what they’re for, instead of blank forms.

    The Ledger

Know your money truth at a glance. Track cash across every account, what comes in and what goes out, the capital you’ve raised and who owns what, and the things you own — then see real runway and per-venture profit computed live, with every key date that bites if forgotten gathered on one "coming up" radar.

    Highlights

    • Money accounts track cash across every bank and pot — balances computed and shown "as of" a date, with a reconcile that re-anchors them when reality drifts from the books.
    • Money out and money in capture recurring costs and income plus one-offs, so burn and net burn roll up live.
    • Funding tracks the capital you’ve raised or expect, lands it into an account when it arrives, and keeps a simple cap table of who owns what.
    • Assets log what a venture owns — domains, trademarks, equipment — with value and expiry.
    • Runway now comes from real cash and real burn — people and rent, not just tools — with a what-if for expected capital and profit/loss per venture over any range.

    Ventures And Runway

CentralHq becomes a cockpit. Capture every idea as a venture, shape it, decide it, and run it — with your tools, spend, and runway computed live so you always know how long you’ve got.

    Highlights

    • The Cockpit: your runway above your ventures — months left, computed live, green / amber / red at a glance.
    • Capture an idea in one keystroke, then shape it and decide it — go, park, or kill, with the rationale on the record.
    • Log the tools each venture runs on — subscriptions, renewal dates, who owns the login — a credential reference, never the password.
    • Spend rolls up live from your tools; add your cash and runway is just there — computed, never stored.
